FitnessPal for Monitoring My Food Log

I have been using the application ‘MyFitnessPal‘ for a while. It can be synced with my phone and my computer (on browser) which is very handy.

At first, the app will be used for losing weight, but then I found that losing weight is so easy especially if you limit your calorie intake and exercise. I love exercise!

However, my acne isn’t going away even if I am on BP as well. Finally, I found out that SUGAR is the first key point of my eating.

You can see that in the first 2 months, I ate sugar like crazy.. no wonder why my liver can’t cope and how many number of candida in my stomach.

From WHO, the suggested daily intake of sugar should be around 25 grams per day or 6 teaspoons. But the app allowed you to have up to 40 grams per day.

So, I cut the amount of sugar intake each day. However, it’s not like getting better by tomorrow. I eat everything as well accept sugar because I went for a conference trip (e.g., I don’t eat fruits but I eat milk) but after that I try to eat less carbohydrates and no refined ones.

Also, I found that if I take certain amount of Vitamin A, my face will grow and looks so healthy (but with acne haha), so that’s why I started eating carrots and sweet potatoes more lately.

More than that, I found that If I consume the fat more than suggested intake (40-50 grams), whiteheads on the upper cheek will be developed. So I have to limit the fat intake to certain amount as well. I always love ‘Brazil nuts, Almond, Pumpkin and Walnut’ but I gotta to think before I throw them into my mouth.

Now, I am on quite strict but happy diet to try on if it helps me with the acne 🙂 so more like an experiment to myself.

This app helps me a lot to make sure that I am on the right track. It helps you realize what nutrition of what you eat and it syncs with UK food barcode so it is very easy to use :).

In summary, I think it is a useful application but try not to obsess with it so much, that is only thing I can say.

After first night of Caveman and Candida

I read recent blog by Tracy again.. (Love her!!)

Just saw the modified Caveman.. click here So I think I might go with it..

so.. today is my second day.. it feels so so strange that I didn’t wash my face.. others would think I’m so disgusting haha but it’s ok.

Update! my face is so oily super super oily.. but I will not take it out of my face so my face will learn that.. no more oil.. don’t produce more.. I hate you hahahaha… it’s like training phase of my (body) machine learning.. How amazing our body isn’t it!!

However, I got breakout.. at the same points after calm down a bit few days ago. What I found is…. the first article of Tracy’s blog.. ‘Probiotics’.. click here 

Ohh my gosh! it totally answer everything (again) .. I try to clean my Liver as my sugar and carbs intake in the past is so high.. but this is better.  The candida is overgrown for many many years. The more sugar and (refined) carbs I take, the more the candida is alive and grow and grow.. 😦 sound so scary. What I have to do is continue ‘Eat Clean’ but………………………… sadly…

I stop eating fruits for like a month and yesterday I saw the way to clean my liver using Kale and some fruits and cure my skin with Vitamin A. So I bought BIG packs of SWEET POTATO and CARROT before I found out about candida

I want to cry.. according to here, the food to avoid including ‘sweet potatoes  and carrot’.. so so sad. Last night I become obsessed about the candida and can’t sleep until I figure it out that I will keep both of them in the freezer, so I can sleep.

That answered why I have a lot of sweet potatoes for two days, but the pimples become inflamed again.. so.. bye bye sweet potatoes for a while.

However, I still think carrot is ok to eat as before I took carrots and the pimples dried quite quick, but it has to be in small portion, I guess.

Finally, I got to be clear that the skin problem and the immune system is different so I have to stick to ‘Eat Clean’ + ‘Caveman’ to cure it.

Will update again about my caveman and the mission of get rid of candida naturally! (as my acne is still under my control now I will not use the Probiotics in the drug store.. at the moment)

First day of Caveman Regimen!

Yahoo… finally I really have a courage to try the Caveman Regimen!

Today will be my FIRST day and I will update it again after. Whether I give the hope up or how long will I experiment this. I did not decide yet about how long but will update later. Promise will post the link below this page, so it will be easy for you.

I guess most people would write a blog when they succeed in doing something.. or not .. it’s what I assume and I try to change myself to be a better person, to be more assertive, to be more confident. So I just write it up on my first day.. to keep track on how things go and to encourage me to continue the regimen!

For anyone who waits for the review, gotta wait for a while, but if you want to know more about me, I will start telling my story.

First! start from this point, the easiest!

why I decide to experiment the caveman regimen.

Well.. I have tried so many many methods to stop them for invading and ruining my life!!! ACNE!!!! PIMPLES!!!! BLEMISH!!! SPOTS!! BREAKOUT!!! or whatever you want to call it.

I think I have to create another blog how I come to this point… like Barney always said ‘Wait for it’..

In brief, I …

1) Stop seeing the dermatologists (because I can’t.. I live in quiet Northern Ireland now not the busy busy Bangkok where the dermatologists are in every next building.)

2) Stop using Benzoyl Peridoxide (because it’s bad bad product.. toxify your skin and you will never ever never ever never ever… have a clear skin if you are still using it. Actually :P, because It’s only thing that really helps in the situation like this, but the product discontinued)

It took me a huge courage to decide to stop it.. I just admit myself that I will have a breakout!.. ugly me.. instead of having BP on my face. But luckily, my job doesn’t need to see people that much. I suppose if I still live in Bangkok, I would definitely rely on it

3) Already not wear a make up for 1.5 years (already) but there’s way your skin can glow and more beautiful than using make-up. will see in another blog

4) Already Eat clean..

two simple words but it’s not easy.. not easy..

a lot of website post about the ‘Eat Clean’ quite clear..

it’s quite a big fever of people try to eat cleaner and cleaner..

but to be honest.. I didn’t really take a look at details of simple words of ‘Eat clean’.. seriously?? yeah.. for example, you can’t eat high GI food such as.. WHITE RICE… so you have to get rid of white rice.. from your life.. I have experimented it and my skin is getting better so then one day I cooked mixing brown and white rice together.. OMG! aggressively inflamed acne alert!!.. but to be honest.. some of that might be over-thinking but to be sure just avoid them in the healing period. (or forever.. :))

it’s hard.. but.. when you get to it.. it becomes easy 🙂

5) Don’t touch your face..

means.. no cream, no cleansing lotion, no toner, no facial wash

I started with just water and pad dry.

Ok.. I think I’m ready for the caveman coming…
